Hallelujah for the USPS and its Express Mail Guarantee and it's ability to promise to deliver my ballot before 12noon on Tuesday, November 4th. Hooray that they effed up and delivered my ballot on Wednesday, November 5th, making me a loser non-voter. Hooray that they refuse to refund my $16.50 because they didn't scan the envelope until Monday at 10pm, and don't believe that I put it in the mailbox on Saturday at 5:30pm and it should have gone out at 12pm on Monday. Oh hooray!
Oh, and thanks Wisconsin for delivering my ballot on Saturday, November 1st.
Is the the point where I also mention being sent a $268 bill for blood work done in the winter of 2007? Wasn't my insurance at the time supposed to cover that? And I owe an $18 co-pay? And the place where I had the blood work done no longer exists?
Oh hooray for bureaucracy.
